About Meet Jane
In 2014, my mother, Jane, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and I was faced with the realization that her memory would soon be gone. My mother’s fading memory prompted me, an enthusiast of technology, to find a way to better digitally preserve her for future generations. I interviewed my mother by preparing questions and emailing them to her. The phone calls were recorded and uploaded to a podcasting service.
During my mother’s funeral service in 2020, these recordings narrated the slideshow of her life. Hearing her own voice recount her life’s story and share her words of wisdom was an incredibly moving and powerful experience that inspired Meet Jane.
Meet Jane was born to help people make meaningful connections with loved ones by capturing their essence and sharing their stories authentically. Our cutting-edge technology and storytelling methods preserve memories and ensure legacies live on.

Peter Busch
Co-founder
Peter was born and raised in Littleton, CO grew up and studied Film and TV at Chapman University. He worked in 2D and 3D Animation for nearly 15 years before getting into technology and AI. Peter’s companies have twice been nominated for Scientific and Technical Academy Awards.
Peter met his wife Niqui working on 3D Movies. Together they have their son Cooper and reside in Austin, Texas.
Favorite family tradition
Nestled in the quaint town of Twin Lakes, Colorado, stands a mountain home built by my grandparents more than four decades ago. The town holds a special place in our family history, with roots dating back nearly a century. Countless cherished memories from my childhood and adulthood are entwined with this idyllic haven. Now, with a family of my own, I eagerly anticipate our annual trips to this special place with Niqui, Cooper, and Tom.
Mike Bodkin
Co-founder
Mike was born in Buffalo, NY and moved out to Los Angeles, California in 2002 to make movies. He met Peter when making the first SpongeBob SquarePants feature and they have been friends ever since. After finding a new passion in marketing, in 2015 he founded his agency, Giant Propeller, and now lives with his wife and 2 kids in Miami.
Favorite family tradition
My amazing wife was born an raised in Barcelona. For over 10 years, ever since our first child was born, we spend the entire summer in Barcelona as soon as school is out. It is an incredible city and we feel so lucky to be able to enjoy this family experience together!
